Not muchn here at trhe moment as I'm recovering from the close down sale. TRhere will be. I'll park stuff here before moving online to ebay or Facebook Marketplace, etc. So keep an eye on it. Or ask if I have something via the Contact pager?

Prices and Post

All prices are in Australian dollars (US$0.75 approx). Postage is extra but i keep the cost down, shipping at cost or less, no handling charge, recycled and solid packaging - usually $20 or less for a regular camera or lens and I always use Express Post in Australia in these benighted go-slow times. Buy two or three items and I usually ship for free unless it's big, cheap stuff. Insurance is extra of course - it usually works out at around $10 per $500 for domestic.

International? Of course and the same basic rules apply but postage isn't cheap these days so ask first. I'll insist on EMS, insured and sign on receipt  for higher priced items to protect us both. I can do international courier as well. It usually costs around AU$50-150 for a parcel and as an example, the Mamiya 7 below cost just over $200 posted each way, Melbourne to California, a bit underinsured! Ouch.

Others

Laowa (Venus Optics) 105mm f2 (T3.2) Smooth Trans Focus portrait or video lens. Strange manual focus  lens for super bokeh effects. Heavyweight metal construction. One of the best of the new Chinese offerings – monster glass. As new, with hood but no box or papers.  Go look it up - it's fascinating - two aperture diaphragms - one f stop and one cine T stop (max 3.2) You can play them off against each other for spiffy effects. In Pentax K mount but as it's manual function, that's almost irrelevant - suits most except Nikon F with a simple adapter. Comes with a PK-A to Canon EF (EOS) adapter. Lists for near or over $1000 new - gimmee $450 for it and we'll both be happy. Very happy.

Vivitar Series 1 'Solid Cat' Mirror 600mm f8.

Legendary Vivitar mirror lenses made by Century Optics in California (I believe). Most mirror lenses have curved mirrors inside, the Vivitars (and some Russians) have silvered blocks of shaped glass so they are rather heavy and sooooo much better.

This one arrived looking well used so i had it serviced and cleaned. It is in 'T' mount which means that with the right T2 adapter you can stick it on almost any camera (yes, even a Nikon F). Works well on digital too - put it on an Olympus and it's a 1200mm equivalent! Huge reach and crisp image for a mirror. Heavy but compact compared to a regular 600mm.  $375

Nikon

D60 -10mp - boxed, as new, with 18-55mm lens - $220.

D3000 - 10mp - twin lens kit (G VR DX 18-55mm, 55-200mm)  $280.

D3300 -24mp - twin lens kit (GII VR DX lenses 18-55mm, 55-200mm). With manual. $425

Just found in the cupboard - D90. Nice camera, first Nikon with CMOS sensor. Sentimental attachment - Nikon flew me up to the launch in Sydney (nice junket) as it was a big technological shift and they pulled out all the stops - and I almost got arrested taking shots of the bolts that hold up the harbour bridge. The security guard looked more like a terrorist than me and he just didn't get what the hell I was doing. Sold one to a mate of mine recently and he loves it. Body, off brand charger. $195

Pentax *ist D

50 Year Commemorative Edition of this neat little camera - gold plate trim (collectible - no, really!). Early Pentax digital - only 6mp but really nice, almost as new with strap and you can fit ANY Pentax lens, including old screw mounts with a K adapter. Takes 4xAA batteries so no charger, etc. required. With the 18-35mm lens - good short zoom that suits later Pentax didge too. (Worth it for the lens alone).

$325 OBO
